Nordmann Fir trees, scientifically known as Abies nordmanniana, have earned their reputation as excellent Christmas trees for a variety of reasons.
Their lush, deep green needles have a soft, glossy texture that not only adds a touch of elegance to festive decorations but also retains moisture exceptionally well. This characteristic helps the tree maintain its freshness for an extended period, reducing needle shedding and keeping that vibrant holiday spirit alive throughout the season.
Nordmann Firs boast sturdy branches, perfect for supporting a plethora of ornaments and lights. Additionally, their symmetrical shape and dense foliage create a visually appealing canvas for all your festive adornments.
Beyond their aesthetic appeal, these trees have a mild fragrance, making them a delightful addition to any home during the holiday season. Choosing a Nordmann Fir is not just selecting a Christmas tree; it’s embracing a symbol of longevity and beauty that enhances the joy of the season!
Picking the perfect tree can take a while, so we’ve made sure there’s something to keep you going. Grab a freshly made coffee or a hot chocolate to warm up while you wander the field, or stop for a slice of cake.
If you’re making an afternoon of it, there’s pizza on site too. Everything is available throughout our opening hours, so there’s no need to rush. Take your time choosing your tree and enjoy a bite to eat while you’re here.
